Sandy Ground Village and Beach, located on Road Bay contains a long expanse of sugar soft sand and turquoise water and some of the best nightlife on the island. It offers visitors every opportunity to swim, dine, dance, watch a boat race, interact with the locals, or simply enjoy a long walk on the beautiful expanse of coral sand while being captivated by its daily bustle.
Maundays Bay is a calm harbor, curved by a 1.5-kilometer crescent moon and facing the island of Saint-Martin. The wide coastline is densely strewn with soft sand of platinum color. It is washed by clean and clear aquamarine waters.
You will find us being repetitive when we talk about Anguillian beaches. Why? They are ALL beautiful, with soft white sand and the most beautiful aquamarine waters you have ever laid eye on! Yes, and they ALL have some of Anguilla’s finest restaurant for an engaging lunch or dinner, and the most tantalizing of Tropical drinks! Be sure to visit Straw Hat or Ocean Echo on Meads Bay Bay for lunch or diner – or both! Trust us… you will be back!
Shoal Bay Beach will definitely be one of the best beaches that you have ever visited – but this is something that you can say about ALL of Anguilla’s beaches. Not even the crayola box of crayons can boast of such a vibrant aqua color as Shoal Bay Beach! There is so much to do at Shoal Bay, but be sure to visit on a Sunday when you can enjoy the food and music at Gwen’s Reggae Grill! Terry and Gwen will be sure to give you a musical and culinary treat – you won’t be able to get the sound of the island music out of your head! Don’t be surprised if you want to extend your visit, just to come back on another sunday for the sweet, sweet sounds of Gwen’s Reggae Grill!
Crocus Bay is a pristine gem. Get in the water at Crocus Bay and swim all the way to Little Bay. The swim is easy and the shallow water is full of reef fish and coral. This is a small pristine beach that is only accessible by water.
Long, leisurely hikes are popular on this beach. Walking here in the mornings is peaceful and lovely. As you walk, a light sea breeze flows through, keeping you cool.
